What is the Wall Street Ren ? When and why was it formed ?
Founded in 2003 by bankers, the Wall Street Ren is an independent membership organization and a nonpartisan think tank, It has no affiliation with any corporation.
What does the WSR do ?
The WSR's main activities, as summiarized in our Mission Statement:
1. Convene monthly meetings in New York City, which is the center of global financial market
2. Our members conduct a wide-range studies, produce articles and
books that analyze capital market issues and make concrete recommendations
3. Exchange information among our members through internal forum/Email
4. Maintain a diverse membership, including special programs to foster interest and expertise in the next generation of financial market leaders
5. Sponsor various charity groups
How is the WSR managed ?
The WSR is managed by volunteers
Who finances the WSR ?
Each year, the WSR relies on charitbale contributions from individual members to support it ongoing programs and new initiatives. Maintaining the quality and variety of work and programs for which the work and programfor which the WSR is known requires a steady stream of independent support form a variety of sources.
Is the WSR a secret organization ?
No
How can I get access to WSR monthly meetings ?
Only club members can attend monthly meetings. However, occationally we allow one member to bring one special guest(VP+).
And we open our monthly meeting to Chinese Students once a year.
