Qualifications : The WSR has four key objectives in the composition of its membership -- auality, diversity, contribution and balance.
Most importantly, however, members must display a willingness to commit their time and resources to promoting the goals of the WSR. While the WSR's membership now exceeds 200, its size will always remain small as important decisions are made by consensus.Commitment to participate in meetings and/or share at least one email semi-annually
In 2006, we reached a remarkable milestone - we've grown to more than 238 members, 160 are Directors+, Consider that just over 1 years ago, we aspired to have 60 directors+ strong … someday In particular, we look for people who can share qualified leads with the group. They should fit the following criteria, which has always been central to the committee's consideration of membership candidates:
_____________________________________________________________________________ We are very proud of the fact that our membership includes Chinese from all corners of the capital market industry, representing credit, equity, derivative, fixed income, risk management and portfolio management as well as the more obvious research and strategy roles. This breadth of expertise provides a rich and varied resource pool from which we can draw and mutually benefit.
Our tradition is to refrain from charging money for membership. However, we always remind all members that their "dues" are to contribute their experience and expertise for the benefit of the organization.
