Cho Ralph, Managing Director, WestLB
Ralph Cho is an Managing Director at WestLB AG in New York supporting both bank loan syndications and private placements for the Americas region. Mr. Cho joined WestLB in 2004 from Credit Suisse First Boston where he was in the Investment Banking Division within the Global Energy Group. He has been involved in a number of financings, concluding in excess of US$1 billion in the energy sector. Since joining WestLB, Mr. Cho has been involved in a variety of syndications for energy companies such as Caithness Energy (developer and acquirer of wind farms), Cheyenne Plains (developer of gas pipelines sponsored by El Paso), La Paloma and Wolf Hollow (acquisition of gas-fired plants in California and Texas respectively). Specifically in the biofuels sector, Mr. Cho has been actively involved in successfully syndicating approximately US$1.5 billion in Ethanol financings to date. These high profile financings include a US$275 million credit facility for ASAlliances Biofuel’s three 100 million gallon corn-based Ethanol plants in the mid-west sponsored by Cargill and DE Shaw, and a US$298.5 million credit facility for White Energy’s acquisition of an Ethanol plant in Russell, Kansas and construction of two 100 million gallon corn-based Ethanol plant in Hereford, Texas and Plainview, Texas. The most recent financing he has been involved with is Pacific Ethanol’s $325 million five plant destination portfolio syndicated in one of the more challenging market environments.

Gang Chu is a Managing Director and a Senior Portfolio Manager for Citigroup Alternative Investments, where he manages a $1 billion capital municipal arbitrage fund. Prior to joining Citigroup Alternative Investments in May 2002, Mr. Chu comanaged a $6 billion municipal arbitrage portfolio at the Municipal Arbitrage desk at Citigroup Global Markets. Prior to April 2001, he traded a $5 billion municipal arbitrage portfolio in Citibank's Tax Exempt Structured Products business. Pingfan Hong is a Director at UN, in charge of a team to produce global economic outlook for various UN reports, publications and speeches, including the World Economic Situation and Prospects, and the LINK Global Economic Outlook. Hu Dapeng, Managing Director, BlackRock
Dapeng Hu, PhD, CFA, Managing Director, Head of mortgage modeling at BlackRock Solutions' financial modeling group and a member of BlackRock's Fixed Income Global Research team. Dr. Hu's primary responsibilities include directing development of BlackRock's mortgage prepayment and credit models and conducting relative value research on MBS and ABS. Vivien Huang is the head of ABS research at Goldman Sachs . Junze Lin is a Managing Director at Bear Stearns. He is in charge of the quantitative support for credit derivative desk and structures, models, and prices all credit derivative products. Mr. Lin is a member of the team that pioneer "base correlation" in synthetic CDO modeling. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a B.S. of Mathematics and has a Ph.D. Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University in 2001.

Mr. Weng also serves as a member of CSAM U.S. Equity Investment Policy Committee and a member of CSAM New York Product Control Committee. Before joining CSAM, Mr. Weng was a Vice President and senior quantitative analyst with Banc of America Capital Management. Mr. Weng holds a B.E. in Management Information Systems and an M.E. in Systems Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University.

Zhai David, Managing Director,

David Zhai, Ph.D., is a Managing Director and the Head of Market Risk - Traded Credit and Structured Products in Wachovia Securities. Previously he held senior market risk positions in hedge funds and Swiss Re Financial Products where he was responsible for portfolio construction and risk management. He also had front office roles in JP Morgan and Harvard Management, as well a senior credit officer role with Moody's Structured Finance Group. He has covered product areas including equity and derivatives, consumer and commercial credit products, credit and interest rate derivatives, asset-backed products and CDOs, emerging markets, and insurance/weather derivatives.

Zhang David, Director
, MSTAR
David Zhang is Director and Head of MSTAR (mortgage strategy, technology, Analytics and Risk), a newly formed group providing analytical support for mortgage trading business at CS. Before joining CSFB, he was a senior director of research at FreddieMac, responsible for term structure, prepayment modeling and valuation of debt, derivatives and mortgage products for FreddieMac's investment portfolio. He also worked at CIBC Oppenheimer in New York and University of Chicago. He has a Ph.D from Princeton University.

Zhang Hongfei, Director, FSA

Hongfei is the head of risk management for the Financial Products Group at Financial Security Assurance and is responsible for all derivatives trading, investment and funding authorizations, asset liability management, risk monitoring, risk measure and risk infrastructure.  During his tenure, FSA Financial Products’ fixed income portfolio that invests mainly in ABS/MBS grows from $2 billion to current $17 billion.  Also Hongfei is heading FSA’s china business development effor, responsible for marketing, product design and presentations to major Chinese financial institutions and QDII investors.   Prior to FSA, Hongfei was a vice president at Prime Brokeraage Division at Deutsche Bank in New York, responsible for developing risk analytics on a wide range of fixed income, equity and derivative related products for DB’s hedge fund and asset management clients.    Prior to Deutsche Bank, Hongfei was a director of quantitative investment in the investment department of Nationwide Insurance Enterprise  at Columbus, Ohio, where he was responsible for developing derivative, yield enhancement, ALM and risk management strategies and models.  He led and managed one of the first dynamic hedging programs in the industry to hedge the exotic derivatives in their variable annuity business.   Before his financial industry career, Hongfei was a Professor at Ball State University and University of Texas at Austin.  He was also a research fellow at Argonne National Laboratory.  He received his PhD in mathematics from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands and a B.S. in applied mathematics from Tsinghua University, China.  He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Zhang Jeff, Senior Managing Director, Bear Sterns
Jeff Zhang, Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, trades structured products(ABS/CMBS/MBS); he is based in Hong Kong, covering all Asia Pacific areas. Prior to relocating to Hong Kong, Jeff worked in New York as a member of CSFB's Mortgage ABS Strategy team, the team was ranked number one in 2003 Institutional Investors survey. Before joining CSFB in 1998, Jeff worked at interest rate derivatives desk of Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets and built portfolio analytics at Merrill Lynch. Jeff is a CFA charter holder; he holds MBA, M.S.and B.S. degrees from New York University, University of Pennsylvania and Tsinghua University, respectively.

Zili Zhang is a senior vice president, portfolio manager and director of quantitative research for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Mo. He is based in the company's Mountain View, Calif. office.

Dr. Zhang, who has been with American Century® since 1995, is a portfolio manager on the team of investment professionals that oversees the American Century Income & Growth portfolio. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Zhang was a postdoctoral research fellow, Ilya Prigogine Center for Statistical Mechanics and Complex Systems at the University of Texas.

Dr. Zhang holds a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas.

Dr. Fei Zhou is currently a Managing Director in the fixed-income derivatives research group at Lehman Brothers, specializing in developing stochastic term structure models for pricing and analyzing various interest rate derivatives traded on the swap & option desk. Quan Zhu is currently an executive vice president in charge of fixed income research at Portfolio Risk Management Department of Countrwide Financial. His main responsibilities are interest rate modeling, prepayment analysis, derivatives pricing, and portfolio optimization. He has been with Countrywide since 1998. Previously, he worked as a vice president at Kamakura Coporation, a risk management software company, and as a computer scientist at the Information Sciences Institute of USC. Prior to that, he worked at Fermi National Lab, Brookhaven National Lab, and Los Alamos National Lab as a high energy physicist. He has a Ph.D in physics from Rice University. (USTC)

Steven Zhu is currently Head of Credit Analytics and Methodology at Bank of America Securities in New York. Steven has more than 12yrs industry experience in fixed income, credit and commodity products. Steven worked as a desk quant, exotics trader and structuring derivative products across different markets at First National Bank of Chicago (now part of JPMorgan Chase), Williams Energy Trading, as well as Citibank at both its New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo office.
Steven specializes in the field of quantitative modeling and risk management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and subsequently spent one-year term as a NSF Research Scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management. Zuo Shaojun, SVP, ZS

Shaojun Zuo is a Senior Vice President at ZS Structured Credit Capital Management LP. Mr. Zuo oversees the firm's ABS CDO business and is responsible for ABS CDO issuance, CDO trading and portfolio management. He joined the structured credit group at DB Zwirn & Co in 2005, and transitioned to ZS Structured Credit Capital Management L.P. when the group spun off from DB Zwirn & Co in 2006. From 2000 to 2005, he was with the Zais Group LLC, most recently as a senior analyst in the portfolio management group, responsible for CDO valuation and investment. Prior to that, he was a consultant for Financial Guaranty Insurance Company from 1999 to 2000.
